Uklon Acquires Ukrainian Electric Scooter Operator e-Wings

Uklon has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of the corporate rights of the electric scooter operator e-Wings. The deal is expected to close in the third quater of this year.

With this acquisition, Uklon continues its transformation from a mono-product company into a comprehensive ecosystem of products and services. Currently, the ecosystem includes the Uklon ride-hailing service, Uklon Delivery, the Uklon Ads advertising platform, and the Uklon Travel bus ticket booking service.

“Micromobility is a logical expansion of our platform and one of the most promising directions in modern urban logistics. We aim to gather all necessary transportation services in one app so that users can easily meet any need: from a short trip across the city to international travel,” says Serhii Hryshkov, CEO of Uklon.

Currently, electric scooter rentals are available via the e-Wings app in 11 cities. Following the closing of the deal and a transitional period, Uklon plans to integrate the scooter rental service directly into the main Uklon app.

After the deal is finalized, the core e-Wings team will join Uklon under the leadership of Vadym Ishchenko, Chief Operating Officer of Uklon. Two of the e-Wings co-owners, Roman Motruk and Oleh Bilyi, who managed the business’s operations, will continue to develop the service as part of the Uklon team.

“This deal marks a new stage of development for our team as part of Uklon. We are excited to become part of a powerful ecosystem to jointly create a seamless urban movement experience—from a quick scooter ride to ordering a car, all within one app,” noted Roman Motruk and Oleh Bilyi, the founders of e-Wings.

e-Wings is a Lviv-based electric scooter operator currently present in 11 cities: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Kremenchuk, Sumy, Horishni Plavni, Drohobych, Zolochiv, Ternopil, Irpin, and Chernihiv. The total connected fleet consists of approximately 3,000 electric scooters.
