Over 90 million UAH for the Defense Forces and Inclusivity: Uklon’s 2025 Social Responsibility Results
Uklon continues to systematically support the Defense Forces of Ukraine, volunteer movements, and social projects aimed at developing barrier-free environments, inclusivity, and other charitable initiatives.
In 2025, the total volume of financial support across these areas exceeded 90,000,000 UAH, of which more than 16,000,000 UAH consisted of user contributions made through the “Regular Donations” feature in the app.
Since January 2022 through December 2025, the cumulative financial contributions from the company, its founders, and service users in support of the defense forces, social initiatives, and charitable projects have exceeded 339,000,000 UAH.
“For Uklon, systematic assistance to the Defense Forces, the development of barrier-free access, and the implementation of inclusivity are not just individual projects, but the foundation of our social impact strategy. Over 90 million UAH in a year is the response of business and the community to the needs of our time. We remain focused on supporting the defense forces—specifically protecting our skies—while simultaneously building an environment where inclusivity, diversity, and veteran support prevail. Each step brings us closer to a future where Ukrainian cities are accessible, and our society is stronger and more united,” notes Serhii Gryshkov, CEO of Uklon.
The primary track for supporting defenders in 2025 focused on donations and fundraisers to bolster Air Defense and support the operational efficiency of the military protecting peaceful cities and civilian infrastructure from enemy UAVs. In partnership with the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, Uklon implemented the “Light Up the Enemy” and “Light Up the Enemy 2.0” initiatives, providing defenders with reconnaissance and guidance systems for mobile fire groups.
Throughout the year, Uklon also provided systematic support for key defense and medical requests:
-
Supported the “Dronopad” (Dronefall) fundraiser by “Come Back Alive” to protect the sky from enemy UAVs.
-
Invested in AI solutions for Air Defense as part of the UNITED24 “For Quiet Nights” initiative.
-
Contributed to the reconstruction of the “Hospitallers” volunteer battalion base, which was destroyed by a Russian strike.
-
Partnered with the “Faine Misto” festival to re-equip 10 evacuation vehicles for the “Azov” brigade.
-
Supported a charity concert by “Kurgan & Agregat,” resulting in an ambulance for the “ULF” medical service (108th Battalion “Da Vinci Wolves”), currently evacuating the wounded to the Superhumans Center.
The flagship project in this direction is Uklon Inclusive, which has been providing accessible rides for wheelchair users since April 2023.
In 2025, the ambassadors for the Inclusive class became Oleksandr “Teren” Budko—a veteran and public figure—and Uliana Pcholkina—an activist and expert on inclusion and accessibility.
Together with Oleksandr Teren, Uklon joined the “Strength Through Support” project by City Swell, an initiative organizing adaptive training for veterans who have lost limbs. Additionally, the company supports the training camps for the Kyiv Para-Rowing Team in Italy.
The cultural aspect of barrier-free access was embodied through the educational and art event “Soft City: Inclusive Culture Day,” organized alongside the Sens bookstore, The Village media, and the “Third After Midnight” museum for International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The company actively promotes the reintegration of veterans and supports those affected by the war:
-
Implemented a training and internship program in IT and creative industries for 26 military personnel and veterans in collaboration with the Projector Foundation.
-
Joined the National Minute of Silence on the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine alongside the “Vshanuy” NGO. Communication within the app is now paused from 8:59 to 9:01 AM as a tribute.
-
Contributed 1 million UAH to St. Nicholas and Christmas initiatives for children who lost parents to the war, providing gifts for 984 children. Uklon ambassador Maryna Krut recorded a song with them for the occasion.
These efforts have been recognized by the professional community. In the ranking of Ukraine’s largest donors by NV Business, Uklon ranks 6th in the “IT and Telecommunications” category for support provided since the full-scale invasion began. The company was also named among the leading tech donors of 2025 by AIN.
Currently, Uklon has joined the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation’s largest fundraiser, “Yedynozbir,” which aims to raise 1,000,000,000 UAH to purchase “Shahed” interceptor drones and equip operator crews.
Starting in 2026, Uklon will introduce a new permanent mechanic in the app allowing users to exchange “mediators” (loyalty points) for corporate donations funded by Uklon.
